How it works

You ship once. We run it in the market.
Here is exactly how.

You hand the goods over once. We import them, store them, get them sold or distributed, and deliver them. You keep the decisions on product, price and who you work with. The same five steps apply to consumer brands and B2B businesses.

Like marketplace fulfilment models. For an entire market.

If you have used marketplace fulfilment, you already understand most of BRDG. You send the stock, and it is stored, sold, delivered and returned for you, while you keep the brand and the price. BRDG applies the same idea to a whole market. We also import the goods, handle the compliance, and run the selling across your channels, from your own store and the marketplaces to retail and wholesale.

The operating model

  1. 01

    Ship

You send the goods to us, once. That is the only thing you physically do.

  2. 02

    Import

We are the importer. Customs, duties, taxes, certificates and the paperwork.

  3. 03

    Store

In a bonded, duty-paid or free-zone warehouse. The stock stays yours until it sells.

  4. 04

    Sell or distribute

Through consumer channels, or to business buyers and distributors.

  5. 05

    Deliver

To the customer, the shop, the factory or the distributor.

The detail for your business

The five steps for B2B & industrial

  1. 01

    You ship

One handover, one company to deal with.

  2. 02

    We import

We are the importer of record: customs, duties and taxes.

  3. 03

    We handle the certificates

Product certificates and registrations, and CBAM declarations where they apply.

  4. 04

You sell, using your team or ours

Sell to your own buyers or ones we introduce. We handle the import, local compliance and the logistics behind the deal.

  5. 05

    We deliver

To factories, sites, distributors and trade customers.

What you decide and what we do

You decide

  • What you sell and at what price
  • Which buyers and distributors you accept
  • Your product specifications and documentation
  • Where you want to go next

We do

  • Import, customs and duties
  • Certificates, registrations and CBAM where it applies
  • Moving and storing the goods
  • The operational platform for your sales team, plus buyer introductions when you want them

One deal, from approvals to money in your account

Whether you hold stock locally in a bonded warehouse or ship directly against customer orders, the route is the same. Here is how a deal moves from approvals to money in your account.

01: Approvals

  1. We register the products

Classification, the testing and standards each market needs, and the import licences.

  2. We map the costs

Duties, local taxes and compliance obligations, including CBAM where it applies, quoted before anything moves.

02: Stock or ship to order

  1. Stock held in the market

For repeat supply, goods sit in a bonded, free-zone or GST warehouse and stay yours until they sell.

  2. Or shipped against an order

For project business and capital equipment, goods move once the purchase order is signed.

  3. We clear customs

As importer of record, handling clearance, duty and import tax.

03: Sell and deliver

  1. You sell

With your own team, staff placed through us, or buyers we introduce.

  2. We deliver

To the factory, contractor, site or distributor, with compliant local paperwork.

04: Reconcile and pay

  1. We reconcile

Import tax reclaimed through our local entity, settled against actuals.

  2. You are paid

Buyer payments collected, local costs settled, the balance sent to your account.

More for B2B & industrial businesses

How long it takes

Example: from first call to first order in India.

  1. Weeks 1 to 2

    Work out the route

We classify the products, check the duties, list the approvals you need and show you what it really costs to land.

  2. Weeks 3 to 6

    Paperwork

Registrations and approvals started, labels corrected, import route fixed.

  3. Weeks 7 to 10

    First stock arrives

Goods imported and into the warehouse, ready to sell or deliver.

  4. Weeks 11 to 13

    First orders

Orders coming in, weekly reporting to you.

This is an example, not a promise. Timing varies by market, product type and how long approvals take. Industrial products often need more testing and take longer to reach final registration, so the same route simply starts earlier.

Who takes what risk

You carry

  • The stock, until it sells
  • The freight, both ways
  • The marketing budget, at whatever level you choose
  • The decisions on price, product and brand

We carry

  • The risk if customs or the rules go wrong
  • The warehouse, the people and the systems
  • The marketplace accounts and the shop relationships

If it doesn’t sell, it comes back to you. We never discount your products or dump inventory to clear a shelf. You keep control of your pricing.

Only need one service?

Any service works on its own.

  3. 03We import and settle duties against actuals.

  2. 02We handle the emissions data and reporting process

Two ways to work

Run by BRDG, or run by you.

We run it

Our team in the market does the work.

Import, paperwork, storage, delivery and the commercial work, handled by our people there. You stay on your product and your other markets.

You run it

Use what we have built and drive it yourself.

Our importer of record, our warehouses and our partners, with your own team in charge. You get a presence in the market without setting up a company in it.

The honest trade-off

Who this model suits.

You earn more

Direct market presence and the full upside on every channel, instead of a distributor’s margin.

You commit more

You stay close to stock decisions and remain actively involved in building the market.

If you want to hand the market to a distributor and step away, this is not the model for you. If you want to own your position in the market, it is.
